Business Development Specialist
Toya Woods, a native of Washington D.C., is a Business Development Specialist in the Office of Small Business at the Export Import Bank of the United States (EXIM Bank). EXIM is an independent federal agency that provides export credit insurance and working capital guarantees specifically designed to help develop and expand U.S. small businesses in the global marketplace.
Ms. Woods is responsible for promoting EXIM’s export financing programs and services to the underserved business community, working primarily with minority and women-owned businesses as well as veteran-owned enterprises.
As an African American woman working in today’s society, Ms. Woods personally knows the importance of bringing awareness to these resources for minority business owners.
Ms. Woods has been with EXIM Bank for more than eighteen years where she has also worked in the Office of Records Management and in the Bank’s Division of the Treasurer and Controller.
