Event Overview

Join WBEC-West’s Los Angeles and San Diego Forums for The Innovation Train: Business Continuity in Motion, a networking and educational experience focused on helping businesses prepare for disruption and keep moving forward.

The experience begins aboard the Amtrak Pacific Surfliner. Attendees traveling from Los Angeles or San Diego will network with women business owners and corporate leaders during the ride to San Juan Capistrano.

Both groups will meet at Plaza Magdalena for a panel discussion featuring business leaders and continuity experts, a buffet lunch, and continued networking. The discussion will cover practical ways to manage technology and cybersecurity risks, workforce changes, supply-chain interruptions, financial instability, natural disasters, and other unexpected events.

Attendees will leave with ideas, tools, and connections to strengthen business resilience and support growth.

Los Angeles train group: Board with the group at Union Station, Los Angeles.

San Diego train group: Board with the group at Santa Fe Depot, San Diego.

Additional Event Details

• Train + Lunch registration includes round-trip train travel and event admission. Luncheon Only registration does not include transportation.
• Train attendees must board with their selected group at Union Station or Santa Fe Depot. Exact boarding times and train schedules will be shared before the event.
• Complimentary parking for the Los Angeles group is available at the Metropolitan Water District across from Union Station.
• San Diego attendees may park near a San Diego Trolley station and take the trolley to Santa Fe Depot.
• Parking is available in downtown San Juan Capistrano for attendees driving to the venue. Recommendations will be sent in the “Know Before You Go” email.
• Dress is business casual. Comfortable shoes are recommended for the short walk between the train station and venue.
