This program is a must for WBENC-certified Women Business Enterprises (WBEs) aiming to excel in corporate contracts. Attendees who complete the program have a comprehensive understanding of corporate procurement processes, roles, and responsibilities of supplier diversity professionals, complete a capability statement and value proposition, and receive direct feedback from WBEC-West corporate partners.

By enrolling in the PSP, you commit to completing the entire cohort program, as each class is thoughtfully curated to equip you with essential knowledge and skills. We don`t offer individual class sign-ups, ensuring you receive a comprehensive education.

Program Outcomes:

  1. Comprehensive Understanding: Gain a deep insight into corporate procurement processes.
  2. Roles and Responsibilities: Master the roles of supplier diversity professionals, buyers, contracting agents, and business unit experts.
  3. Value Proposition: Develop proficiency in crafting a compelling value proposition and conducting SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats).
  4. Capability Statement: Learn how to create a relevant and impactful Capability Statement.

Please note: Each PSP class is placed on our WBEC-West Calendar. WBEs must sign up for the entire PSP Cohort Program. WBEs are not allowed to sign up for individual classes.

  • WBEs will have a comprehensive understanding of roles and responsibilities of supplier diversity professionals, buyers, contracting agents, and business unit experts.
  • WBEs will have a better understanding of value proposition and "SWOT Analysis ( Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats).
  • WBEs will understand how to create a relevant Capability Statement.
  • WBEs create and prefect a 90 second business pitch.
  • WBEs who complete all assignments and attend all classes will have an opportunity to pitch and meet with several Corporate Members.
